Megh
34 year old U.S. artist Megh studied fine arts and graphic design and initially worked as a designer before leaving corporate life for pure art at the age of 28. Currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada, she is perhaps best known for her comic series "Little Red Roundbottom", along with other fantasy cannibalism comics and images. She also works occasionally as a fetish model for the website www.mukiskitchen.com
The majority of her work is based on classic comic book techniques of pencil drawing, brush inking and sometimes colouring. While the inking and drawings are performed by hand, her colouring work is done digitally, inspired by oil painting techniques. Megh has several different styles that she utilises for different projects, ranging from cartooning, to simple line-work, to idealism, to realism (her favorite being idealism).
Megh is inspired by many different genres of art, including pulp, pin-up, the Romantics, Art Nouveau, Loony Toons, comics, films, and just about any painting with a beautiful woman in it. She is also inspired by her participation in different aspects of voyeurism, bondage, discipline, submission, and objectification. She uses these experiences to recreate and relive those moments, as well as to inspire more. Although, as stated, she is perhaps best known for, and earns most of her salary from, fantasy cannibalism comics they are not her only focus.
