Bogus Facebook User using Association member John Tisbury's name to book models
John has asked that this matter be brought to everyone's attention - John is a valued member of the Association and one whose integrity and good name is above reproach. The Association strongly condemns the actions of an individual who is attempting to attract models using John's name and reputation.
"Please be aware that a photographer has opened a Facebook account using my name and is intimating that they are me, without actually coming out and saying so. If you get contacted by this user, he is vague about his website URL, email address and general details. He will advise you to Google John Tisbury to view his website! If you do this, the results that come up are ME.
I do have a copy of an email conversation that this person has had with another model on Facebook purporting to be me and wanting to arrange a shoot. I've reported the account to Facebook and forwarded the email evidence to them. I am warning you all as I don't want anyone to get hurt or let down by this person.
